Registered Physiotherapist
Darbi is a registered physiotherapist who has worked in the Cowichan Valley since 2021. A born and raised islander, she quickly returned to Duncan because of the community of people and the slower pace of life. Darbi has focused on working with people who want to stay active and independent, regardless of age or ability, and supporting them as they work toward their goals.
Darbi has pursued ongoing education in a variety of areas to build a wide range of skills and treatment techniques in order to work most effectively with individuals of all ages and activity levels. These courses include Upper and Lower Orthopaedic level 2, Modern dry needling AN-IMS, The Running Clinic Fundamentals of Running Injuries, and in-services with Loaded Manual Therapy and Advanced Physical Therapy Education Institute.
Darbi was raised in the Cowichan Valley and is passionate about staying involved in the community and does so by volunteering as sideline medical support for sports events such as National Pickleball Day and the Senior Girls Soccer Provincial tournament. She has presented in elementary schools and at the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Congress in 2016.
